We can carry out independent risk assessments for organisations or one-off projects. As an independent we can offer valuable third-party insights into to risks in your operations – something that isn’t always apparent when you are ‘up to your ass in alligators’
We have built up a network of people across the globe who we work with, each of whom has a varied and specific skill set we can call upon for any operations – so whether its maritime safety in the Far East, risk assessment for film shoots in South America or an adventure overland expedition in Africa – we have the contacts to assess and advise you.
Training And Projects
With our half a century living and working in the outdoors in so many parts of the world from Alligator infested swamps to steamy jungles and icy mountain peaks – from the big ocean to coral reefs – we have picked up a vast array of skills AND make an incredible number of friends and contacts along the way.
So we are in a rather unique position to either offer training and advice ourselves OR to put you in touch with someone who can help you ….. and that’s from risk and security management for a film crew in Bogota to training a Gurkha team in Nepal.
We can efficiently project manage specific initiatives and ventures with our vast experience of handling everything from extended sea voyages to mammoth bush projects.
Having advised on a wide variety of projects from luxury camps in Saudi Arabia to Indian Ocean voyages we have the skills, contacts and experience to advise or manage your project however large or small.
We can assess areas and make recommendation as to viable adventure activity options and set you on the right course to set them up – or set them up for you in a turn key operation.
We can set up training courses for you from risk management and crisis response training for your team to advanced wilderness first aid.
Risk Assessment
Trip specific or organisation wide risk assessments for companies and organisations operating in remote or hazardous areas. This can vary from providing you with a risk / threat assessment for a specific area or country you plan to visit right through to us ‘auditing’ the risk in the organisation and making suggestions & helping you to draw up management plans and risk protocols.
We also offer specific risk management and crisis response courses to help prepare middle and senior management for the unexpected and help them map and plan solutions. contacts to assess and advise you.

We have set up and either run ourselves, or designed and
found experts to run for us, all sorts of training course all over the
world ….. from Residential Leadership Course in Hong Kong through Risk
Management and Mitigation Training to Advanced First Aid in Africa.
If you have an area that you feel your team is lacking –
whether its basic money management or leave no trace camping techniques ….. we have the ideas, the background, the skills and the contacts to put together a syllabus and make the course happen.
Often allied to risk assessment and management but if you have a new programme or even an idea for one – we can help you to provide and independent assessment of the potential areas of risk and advise how they can be mitigated.
